Superb gilded bronze sculpture depicting a sugar beet. Ancient casting from around 1925 on its cherry marble base. Signed by the founder Susse Frères Paris, offered and probably designed by Louis Sébline, a Picard industrialist established in Aisne. Very good condition, with some minimal wear on the gilding and marble, please see the images. Length 13cm, Width 8cm, Height 4cm, Weight 525g.
