Superb & rare pair of bookends with a sphinx each. They are both signed frecourt (see photos), for maurice frecourt. They are old, art deco period, they are not copies. The supports are in marble and the sphinx gilded bronze. They are both in very good condition, close to the excellent.
Length of the marbles: 17.80 cm and width: 10.70 cm. Thickness of the marbles: 2,00 cm. Weight: 1,500 kg each. Very beautiful old and authentic objects, very rare.
