Pigeon With A Bronze Nest By François Pompon (1855 1933)

  
\Bronze proof signed \Model of the pigeon made in plaster by the artist in 1928. The composition in two parts known as \Post-mortem edition published around the 60s. A copy is exhibited at the Pompon Museum in Saulieu. Please note that the same model was later used by contemporary publishers for museum stores cfr. These models are resin, very modern appearance, and have nothing to do with the bronze test that I propose here. Dimensions: h 4 cm, width 7 cm, length 11 cm.

Dimensions with marble base: 7cm x 10cm. Conditions: excellent state of conservation of the bronze, traces of the time without importance. Small égrenures on the corners of the marble base.
