A superb antique chandelier, a refined testament to Belgian craftsmanship from the interwar period, made entirely of solid bronze and complete with its original glass shades. Origin: Belgium (engraved mark "BELGIUM").

Style: Art Deco with lingering Art Nouveau influences. Materials: solid cast bronze with original patina, matching bronze chain and canopy, original frosted glass tulip shades. Dimensions: height 72 cm, diameter 48 cm. Electricity: rewired at a later date (modern plastic-covered wires), Original E27 screw-type sockets in porcelain, authentic and complete. Condition: excellent for its age, complete (chain, canopy, and original glass shades).

The raised oval patterns with cabochons symbolize the protective eye and the cyclical rhythm of life, dear to Art Deco decorative codes. The scrolls and floral arabesques on the canopy still reflect the natural heritage of Art Nouveau, evoking growth, nature, and organic elegance. The combination of solid bronze (a noble and enduring material) and frosted flower-shaped glass (fragility and diffused light) creates a harmony of strength and delicacy.
