Very decorative on a living room console or on a desk. Louis botinelly, born 2 January 1883, was the son of a marbrier and stone tailor, native to the canton of Ticino (Swiss) and established in that city at the time of the birth of louis. The family then moved to Marseille, rue saint-pierre, in a workshop inherited by the father of botinelly at the death of his brother. Thanks to a bursary in the city of Marseille, Louis botinelly was able to stay in italia in 1902 where he worked in the coutan jule workshop.

In 1905 he was first received at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris. He moved to the capital in 1906, where he made a large number of his works.. in 1911, he obtained a bronze medal for his bulldozer. The bear trainer, bronze group (1911).
