Art Deco bronze (or spelter) “Pheasant” signed URIANO. Animal sculpture depicting a pheasant in an elegant pose, finely worked in the decorative spirit of Art Deco.

The bird is shown standing with its head turned, with a long, stylized, ribbed tail, characteristic of decorative animal compositions from the 1930s. The piece features its original polychrome finish, combining golden, black, red, and green tones that highlight the plumage and emphasize the decorative style of the work. The sculpture rests on a rectangular black marble base, engraved “URIANO,” a well-known publisher of decorative Art Deco sculptures.

Under the base is a pencil inscription “UGO Cipriani,” the Italian sculptor active in Paris during the Art Deco period and renowned for his animal and decorative sculptures. Dimensions: marble base 30 cm long x 9 cm.
