Émile Louis Picault (August 24, 1833 - 1915) was a renowned French sculptor famous for creating amazing works featuring allegorical and patriotic subjects, as well as mythological heroes. Throughout his long career, he produced over 500 art models, and his work was regularly exhibited at the Salon from 1863.
Picault's signature is E. Picault, which can be found on the majority of his sculptures. This superb hand-made sculpture is entirely made from 100% bronze and was cast using the ancient "lost wax method" to ensure its incredible details and quality.
