Published by Alphonse Richard under his registered trademark "La Lampe d'Art," equipped with two glass tulips. Like his colleagues from the 1930s, Richard produced both classic and modern lighting fixtures that he marketed under his registered trademark "La Lampe d'Art" (photo 5). The wall sconce mounts are made of nickel-plated cast bronze, stamped on the back with the monogram AR for Alphonse Richard (photo 6) followed by the model number 97.

Shaped like a dagger (photo 3), the base receives a square tube that supports the glass elements. The highly geometric decoration consists of chased grooves with stylized side flowers (photo 2). To achieve such a finish quality in their lighting glass production, the Cristalleries de Compiègne had installed advanced mechanical presses that allowed for the creation of very refined pieces without any defects. All produced models included parts sandblasted with fine sand and raised areas with a shiny luster obtained through cutting and cork wheel polishing.

In the catalogue of the Cristalleries de Compiègne, under no. 592 with the designation of "modern decorative bobèches." In addition to the Degué signature in the decoration, there is the mention "Compiègne France" embossed on the border.

Restored while respecting their original presentation, these non-drilled sconces are fixed using their back bars (photo 11) and will be secured to the wall by bent hooks. They are fitted with nickel-plated brass B22 bayonet sockets, and the electrical wiring is new. Two new B22 LED bulbs will be provided.
