Splendid rare large sculpture d. Bronze subjects with antique green / bronze patina - gilded bronze - on Belgian solid marble base (black).

A beautiful scene: see this sublime hunter almost naked, with athlete's body and handsome manly face, in a very elegant choreographic pose - threatening this ferocious wolf, all fangs out, ready to attack. An excellent sculpture quality - museum quality - for a luminous patina.

A work of anthology very difficult to find, especially in wolf version (also exists with a cat) - the sumptuous presence of great refined beauty - very spectacular. Signed: brault - bronze in bronze - old cast - art deco period edition - 1920/1930 - no copy - in perfect condition.
