Very elegant pair of 30's in pressed glass and nickel-plated bronze, all original pieces, by the prestigious hettier & vincent Parisian lighting bronze factory. These appliqués are 25.5 cm high, 13 cm wide and weigh 2.7 kg in total. This exclusive model of large tulip with stylized vegetal decoration, probably pressed by the glass factory of the hanots, was used by hettier & vincent to equip their lighting appliances but was also declined into vase (photo 6). This famous factory of high-end lighting devices will have left a deep imprint in the creation of the luminaire of lentre-deux-guerres. It was in the city of light, more precisely in the 9 place des vosges for the store, and at the 10 rue de turenne for the workshops, that the two associates offered a refined clientele of luxurious and unique luminaires.
The two appliqués do not have a signature. The glass is very thick, its surface is unpolished and then repolished to create transparency effects on the prominent reliefs. There are air bubbles and grenches at the clamping points of the four side buttons. We also notice the presence of the famous canned collar cover (photos 4 and 10) used by hettier & vincent on a large number of lamps that they produced. The bar at the back of the frames allows the wall to be hung (photos 8 and 11). These appliques have been rewired with a new wire and are equipped with two nickel-plated brass sockets with bayonet b22. They are ready to be laid down and illuminated. Foreign customers : the old french b22 bayonet sockets can be replaced by new e14 screen sockets. Any total or partial reproduction of the text and/or images of this ad is strictly reserved.
