Applicable to the manufacturer's period catalogue. Graduated from the central school in 1890, aubin ollier was first a manufacturer of castors and copperware for furniture, before resuming the activities of the establishments fargues & apcher, renowned producer of crystals and glassware for lighting and supplier of the city of betting or the railway company. He also founded in 1931 the establishments ollier et cie to operate three betting shops, the most important of which is at numbers 20, 21 and 24 rue de lhirondelle (6 place saint-michel), as well as reserves at aubervilliers. Its offer is aimed at individuals and manufacturers of lighting appliances and incorporates many models of muller brothers, hanots or glassware of bohemian. It also offers models deposited and exclusive, sometimes with its signature, which it has made by various glass factories, as is the case for this pressed glass appliqué presented in its catalogue under the reference 1305 (photo 6).

This large applique, or half-cut, has a geometric decoration on three sides with a stylized floral frieze in its upper part. This drawing will also be displayed on tulips signed ollier. Two side buttons in nickel bronze (photo 3) hold the central bar on the back (photo 8). It measures 29.5 cm in width, 13 cm in height, 14.5 cm in projection and weighs 0.9 kg. The thick pressed glass is unpolished, with a very precise work of repainting in zones, without doubt a work of the glass factory of the hanots.

This glassware is in very good condition, with some surface micro-gins and a small radiance on the upper field. The dorsal bar allows mounting to the wall. The socket is made of nickel-plated brass with bayonet b22. Foreign customers : the old french b22 bayonet sockets can be replaced by new e14 screen sockets.
