LAMPE ART DECO BRONZE ARGENTÉ + PATE VERRE PRESSÉ DEGUE. Pressed glass with floral motifs signed Degué.
The bronze foot and base create an elegant trinket dish, typical of the Art Deco aesthetic that combines functionality and artistic refinement. The pressed glass features wonderful floral patterns, remarkably fine, and beautifully captures light to create a warm ambiance. Active mainly between 1920 and 1939, Degué is famous for its pressed or engraved glass lamps and sconces, associated with bronze, brass, or silvered metal bases. His style is characterized by geometric and stylized forms, floral or animal motifs, and a subtle play of transparency and light. ###128207; Approximate dimensions: 44 cm high.
###128161; Condition: Excellent original condition, minor signs of age. Wiring should be checked to meet current standards. A rare and authentic piece, ideal for collectors and Art Deco decoration enthusiasts. A new bulb is included. However, I find it a bit too bright. The lamp was purchased from a famous antique dealer about 15 years ago.
