Superb Art Deco Bronze Armand Godard 1920 1930 Young Lady with the Dove

  

Very nice bronze by Armand Godard: young lady with dove in perfect condition, a well-known and cataloged model, sometimes signed on the marble, sometimes unsigned, and also available in several finishing patinas. This one is the large model with a superb gradient patina, a gold patina on the hair, and a dark green one on the dove. The onyx base measures 68 cm long, 19 cm wide, and 6 cm high; the bronze measures 57 cm long, 30 cm high, and 17 cm wide.
