Large hammered bronze bowl with pewter rim, on 4 rosewood ball feet. Diameter: 0.404 m, height: 0.095 m. Dent at the location of one foot (see photos). Signed on the bowl: R DELAVAN plus workshop mark on the reverse.

René Delavan, born in 1896, was a designer specializing in artistic pewter and Art Deco metalwork. Active between 1926 and 1958.
