Sculpture Art Deco bronze-plated animal antelope

  

Silver-plated bronze sculpture representing an antelope on a marble base. Beautiful attitude of the animal with its head turned. Signed on the terrace BIGNON and a dedication plaque on the side.

Dated 1931, so from the ART DECO period. Animal length 19cm base 25cm. Animal height 23cm total 28cm.

Some parts are blackened and others are heavily oxidized, especially underneath the animal. However, a beautiful subject and a lovely original piece.
