Pair of Fireplace Chenets "Fleur De Lys" in Bronze and Iron Art Deco. A pair of stylish chenets featuring a symbolic decoration of Fleur de Lys. A rare model from the 1930s, in the Art Deco style. Very aesthetic shape with two stylized legs at the front surmounted by an imposing Fleur de Lys in bronze with a brown and gold aging patina. The bars are made of iron. The Fleur de Lys is closely associated with the French monarchy and has long been used as a royal emblem.

It became the official symbol of France in the 13th century and was used by the kings of France. It represents purity, honor, and sovereignty.

Thickness of the Fleur de Lys is about 4 cm. Thickness at the feet: 2.5 cm. In good condition, with a solid structure that has no weaknesses and no impacts.
