Cm in width and weighs. Heir with his brother Auguste of a company created by their father Alexandre in 1857, he adapted his production to the style developed at the 1925 International Exposition of Decorative Arts by creating lighting fixtures in bronze and wrought iron equipped with molded pressed glass, mainly supplied by Muller Frères in Lunéville. Located at 10 rue du Vert-Bois in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, the Établissements Petitot were wholesalers and supplied a series of retailers throughout France. This company lasted until 2009. The mount is stamped in several areas with the monogram AP (photo 6) for Alexandre Petitot, Hubert having retained his father's initials as was often customary among bronziers.

This mount features a variety of decorations that draw from classicism with leaves that run along the central circle (photo 3), from Art Nouveau with the scrolls formed by the three arms (photo 11), and from Art Deco, embodied in the pierced bellflower (photo 10) or the globe supports (photo 8). The stylized globe with peacocks by Muller Frères is a classic of Art Deco lighting.

It was made in two versions, one with a diameter of 5 cm and the larger one of 5 cm which equips this ceiling light. Many French manufacturers such as Paul Gilles, André Kovacs, and even Marcel Vasseur have used this molded-pressed sphere to equip their lighting fixtures. With a selective frosting of great precision, this is both signed. By acid at the neck (photo). But also in the mold, at the lower end.

Aside from a few invisible chips at the necks, this chandelier has been completely rewired with new wire, the sockets are in brass with a B22 bayonet. New LED bulbs will be provided.
