Very beautiful pair of bookends / sculpture of elephants in bronze sitting on their gray stone base, France, around 1930. From the period and style of Art Nouveau / Art Deco, a transition period between a naturalistic style and a more refined style (notably for the bases).

Quality work, unsigned, to be identified. Indication "bronze" under each piece. Solid mounting, the natural stone bases in good condition, no shocks or??. Natural golden patina of the bronze cleaned?
