She began exhibiting at the Salon des Indépendants, the Autumn Salon, and the Tuileries Salon in 1926. The figure, rendered in an Art Deco figurative style, has a graceful standing silhouette, with beautiful volume work and drapery at the base. The reverse side also reveals the modeling of the body, giving the object a fully sculptural dimension.
The signature "Renée Vautier" is visible in relief near the base, along with the hallmark and the word "Bronze. Very good overall condition, with the original patina well preserved. A few light signs of use (see photos).
