1930-1940 J. Leleu Grand Buffet Sideboard In Rosewood And Bronze Art Deco

  

Art Nouveau - Art Deco - decoration - design - vintage. G rand Buffet - row rosewood and bronze, \D total imensions: height 92 cm, width 243 cm, depth 61 cm. B uffet - interconnecting solid wood and veneer rosewood hot reddish coloration contrasting blackish, animated by a decoration frame exotic wood inlay and nacre forming arabesque and flowers on rhombic grid bottom and a plating internal sycamore (apparently). Large tray rectangular body, wide curved facade forming five doors, and wide and deep base, the whole being animated projections and frames and decorated with half columns arched see on the inside: the four drawers, on view overall: hardware bronze (and brass) chiseled gilt and polished forming heightened decoration drapes, framing rods ropes, handles input and locks, opening and closing mechanisms, and sheathings of legs. No one signed \I n correct state, as often noted defects usages forming small scratches (on the whole), light strokes (on the edges and corners), spots (on the board at the location of the mirror), and minor losses veneers (on the edges and corners) (not too visible to all, see photos), bites and scratches wear usual small shock bronze brass and gilding hardware (not too visible, see pictures) lack mirror the black albalite plateau, interior shelves, and key, to restore to a perfect condition, completely disassembled.
