Art Deco Plaque 1920 Bas Relief Bronze Sculpture 2 Different Faces 47cm

  

Very large double-sided bas-relief plaque in bronze from the Art Deco period. Manufactured in the 1920s or 1930s. It measures 18cm in length, 5cm at its thickest point. Beautiful solid bronze of high quality, with a very nice patina.

The plaque is very thick and quite heavy, weighing 10kg!! One side depicts a female painter, while the other side features a nude woman. In very good condition, with normal signs of use and the passage of time (some rubbing in places). There is also a lack of patina on a small edge, see the last photo.
